Hi Neighbor, I’m Ruben Medina, your Ward 3 City Councilmember
I was born in Colorado, and my family and I have called Aurora home for over 35 years.
In 2021, you elected me to the Aurora City Council. I promised results, and I have delivered better water standards, hired more park rangers, and increased investments in our business district to help you and other Ward 3 families. I promised you the first-ever Youth Empowerment Center in Aurora, and I will announce the grand opening soon. I’ve dedicated my life to public service. I’m a former firefighter/EMT and opened the first ambulance service in my hometown. I was a wrestling coach at Rangeview & Overland High Schools. In addition to serving you on the city council, I work as a foundation project manager to develop sustainable urban communities across Aurora.
Now, I’m asking for your vote as I run for re-election.
MAGA Republicans have consolidated their money and efforts to take over the Aurora Council. I am one of the last Democrats on the Council. My race is essential to stopping the takeover and protecting families of every background.
